Purpose
This guide outlines how to gift a client an audio program as a discretionary bonus or closing tool.
Gifting is subject to leadership approval and should only be done when the client has already purchased a qualifying product or program.
Eligibility & Intent
- Gifting is a discretionary benefit — to be used as an added value or relationship-strengthening gesture.
- May be offered as a bonus or closing tool if the client has recently purchased a qualifying program and the selected audio program is not already included in their purchase.
- All complimentary gifts must align with current product and department guidelines.
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Confirm Eligibility
- Verify that the client has already purchased a qualifying product or program.
- Confirm the requested audio program is not already part of their package.
- Ensure you have manager or leadership approval before proceeding.
Step 2: Generate Engagement
- On the client’s Account Record in Salesforce, click “Generate Engagement.”
- Select “Product Sales.”
Step 3: Open Product Sales Order
- Click the green “Update” button in the Action field to open the Product Sales Order.
Step 4: Select the Correct Marketing Campaign
In the Marketing Campaign field, choose the campaign that matches your department:
Step 5: Add the Audio Program
- Under “Add Items to Order”, go to the second drop-down box.
- Select the specific audio program you wish to gift (examples include):
- Breakthrough: Creating Lasting Change
- Breakthrough: Mastering Influence
- Time of Your Life
- In the Select Price/Pricebook field, choose the Standard Price Book option.
- Click “Add Selected Item to Order” on the right-hand side.
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Save at Current Stage.”
Step 6: Complete the Paperless Request
From the newly created Opportunity, follow these steps:
- Click “New Request” in the top-right corner.
- If the button is not visible, check the drop-down menu.
- A new window will appear — fill in the following details:
Select Department:
- Choose the department relevant to your request.
Request Type:
- For BMRs, PRSs, or MCs, select → PRS/MC/BMR - Product Comp
- For CSRs, select → Coaching - PRF
Assign the Request:
- In the Assigned To field, type: jr par
Requester Notes:
- Clearly explain your request so it’s easy to understand.
Example:
“Please comp BT Audio as closing tool.”
- Once all required fields are completed, click “Save.”
