We’ve transitioned to a new SPAM and email security provider, Mimecast, to better protect against unwanted or malicious emails.
As inbound messages are filtered through Mimecast, you may begin receiving SPAM notifications or quarantine alerts directly from Mimecast. These are legitimate and expected messages.
What to Expect
When Mimecast identifies a potential SPAM or suspicious email, it may hold that message in quarantine for your review.
You’ll receive a Mimecast notification email listing:
The sender’s address
The subject line
The reason the email was held
Options to release, permit, or block the message
⚠️ Always review these carefully before releasing any email to ensure it’s not dangerous or fraudulent.
How to Access Your SPAM Folder
You can access your Mimecast SPAM and quarantine area here:
Use your Tony Robbins email credentials to sign in.
Once logged in, you’ll see:
Held (SPAM) Messages – emails Mimecast flagged as suspicious.
Approved Senders – addresses you’ve marked as safe.
Blocked Senders – addresses you’ve restricted.
How to Release SPAM Emails from Quarantine
If you find a legitimate email caught in your SPAM or quarantine list:
Log in to Mimecast.
Go to the Held Messages (SPAM) section.
Locate the email you want to release.
Choose one of the following options:
Release – sends the email to your inbox.
Permit and Release – sends the email to your inbox and adds the sender to your safe list.
Block – keeps the sender blocked and prevents future SPAM from that address.
Helping a Team Member with SPAM or Quarantined Emails
If a teammate is unable to access Mimecast or release their own emails:
Ask them to forward their Mimecast SPAM notification or take a screenshot of the held message.
Confirm that the sender is safe.
If legitimate, contact IT Support for help releasing the email on their behalf.
Important Reminders
Mimecast SPAM notifications are real and expected.
Always verify the sender address before approving or releasing any held email.
When unsure, reach out to IT Support before taking action.
✨ Mimecast protects our organization by filtering SPAM, phishing attempts, and other malicious content while ensuring legitimate emails reach your inbox safely.
