Step 2: Open Settings
Click on the Start Menu to open the window. Locate the gear icon (Settings) and click on it to open the Settings window.
Step 3: Navigate to Time and Language
In the Settings window, locate and click on "Time and Language" from the left-hand menu. This will open the time and language configuration options.
Step 4: Configure Date and Time Settings
Click on "Date and Time" from the options. Here you can verify or update the following settings:
- Confirm your time zone is set correctly for your location.
- Toggle "Set time automatically" to On to keep your clock synced.
- Toggle "Set time zone automatically" to On if available.
Step 5: Configure Language Settings
Go back to "Time and Language" and click on "Language and Region." Verify or update the following:
- Confirm your display language is set to English (United States) or your preferred language.
- Verify your region is correctly set to match your location.
Note: If your language or region settings are incorrect, it may affect how dates, times, and currency display across your applications.
Step 6: Save and Restart if Prompted
After completing your time and language settings, save any changes. If prompted to restart your PC to apply the changes, do so before proceeding with any other setup steps.
