Why the Error Happens
Cards used as guest checkouts in Stripe are not linked to customer profiles. Reloading the card inside Salesforce creates the correct connection.
Steps to Resolve the Error
Check the Marketing Campaign
Open the Opportunity in Salesforce.
Add a Marketing Campaign if one is missing.
Gather Payment Details
If the campaign is present but the error continues, collect the full card number.
Collect the expiration date.
Collect the CVC.
Confirm the Shipping Address
Open the Opportunity.
Make sure the clientâs shipping address is added and saved.
Reload the Card
Use the card information you collected.
Add the card as a new payment method on the Opportunity page.
Retry the Transaction
Process the payment again using the reloaded card.
Still Not Working
Submit a support ticket so the team can review the issue.
